Welcome to Island Oasis!
How would you like a time of rest, renewal and reinvigoration on an island – experiencing the ocean breeze while walking on the beach, or riding bikes through scenic winding tree lined trails? Maybe you’re into sports: golfing, pickleball, fishing, or tennis. Then there is the water – always calling you out to kayak, boat, or swim. Whether resting with a book you’ve been wanting to read,, or meditating upon God’s Word and creation, welcome to Island Oasis.
Who Are We and What is our Purpose?
We are God’s Family known as Island Lutheran Church. We also know first-hand the gift of our Lord’s workers in the LCMS through the stories and sentiments shared by visitors from around the country each year.
Our purpose is to provide intentional restorative care for pastors and other church workers and their families, resulting in the strengthening of LCMS congregations, who are blessed by refreshed partners in ministry.
What can happen?

Unplug. Listen to one another. No schedule. Experience the healing balm of God’s creation.
Improve!
Re-Hear the Spirit’s voice in the Scriptures.
Re-Imagine His callings in your life (vocations).
Re-See the Family of God whom you have been called to serve.

I am baptized. Therefore, my identity is in the Lord – my safety is in the Lord – my purpose is in the Lord…and He is faithful.

Our island (and the surrounding mainland) are filled with walking/biking trails, boating opportunities, beach activities, nature preserves, shopping and historical sites.

Come and get your fill of excellent seafood, well-crafted land food, and specialty drinks from our many excellent restaurants.
