ILC YOUTH NEWS

ILC Youth recently designated that $1545 of the youth funds( money raised by the youth-yard sale , Valentines Dinner, etc) be give to CWEFT in Thailand. These funds will be used to enable the Christian based Student Center in Chang Mai to send 30 students ($50 each) to camp in June during a school break. Without these funds, the students would have not been able to go. This is the same Student Center visited by out Thailand Mission Team in October 2008.
The students who attend the Christian Student Center are high school age and are from the villages of northern Thailand. They have left their families to finish their high school education as there are no such facilities in the villages. The only other options for boarding are with relatives or in Buddhist temples.
The students there will be corresponding with our youth to fill them in on their camp experience.

NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING
A number of ILC youth will attending the National Youth Gathering on July 17-21 in New Orleans. We are teaming with the youth group from Dave Timmerman's church in Florida.
